The dining room could do well with a makeover, and the washrooms are grungy. Anyone who is a clean freak will be turned off at all the folded up cardboard boxes all over the place. The labels at the buffet area are improperly marked or not marked at all. It's not a pretty place.
But what about the food? I'm reviewing the Sunday buffet lineup, which has additional choices. For under $20 on Sunday you get all-you-can-eat snow crab legs, scallops, and even frog legs. This is a great deal when you have to pay double price in Toronto to get the same kind of food. Note that they put out one buffet bowl for each dish, and when it's gone, that's it. Arrive early (5pm) on Sunday to get as much as you can, and to prevent eating dried-out food. The seafood choices are unavailable on lunch or weekdays.
Good for seafood lovers like me, but for everyone else, it's probably not worth the detour. -

This restaurant is quite big but when we went on a Saturday night it was less than a quarter full. The lighting is quite dark. The restaurant was also a bit cold. The host at the door indicated that we could grab a table we liked (easy to do with all the free tables). The food was ok but not the best. Some was a bit dry. There were some labels at the buffet tables, but some food had no labels or even the wrong labels. The desert was ok. The price was also reasonable.

The food was delicious and delivered quickly and the price was great. We ordered the dinner for two and ate a lot with some still left for lunch tomorrow. I would definitely order again when I comeback into town.
